Frequently asked questions
Where are photos saved?
Photos you capture are saved by iOS to your system photo library. SceneLens does not upload your photo files as part of its scene guidance or sync.
Why is a custom scene not available while signed out?
Custom scenes are private account data. Sign in with the same Apple account to create, sync, and restore them. Signing out clears the local copy so another account cannot see it.
How do I restore my custom scenes?
Connect to the internet and sign in with the same Apple account. SceneLens restores your private custom scenes, favorites, and recent scenes automatically.
Why does SceneLens need camera or photo-library permission?
Camera access is required to show the viewfinder and take a photo. Photo-library access is requested only when iOS needs permission to save or display photos in your library.
Can I remove a photo or a custom scene?
Yes. Delete a photo from the in-app preview or Photos as appropriate. You can also open a custom scene and delete it; the deletion syncs when you are signed in and connected.
