Does AirTranscript require an internet connection?
No. All transcription happens on-device. Internet is only needed the first time you download an AI model.
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
Never. Everything is processed locally on your iPhone and never sent anywhere.
Which languages are supported?
English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, and more. Enable Auto Detect for automatic language identification.
What's the difference between Tiny, Base, and Small models?
Tiny is fastest with smallest size. Base is recommended for most users. Small gives highest accuracy but takes longer and uses more storage.
How do I delete a recording?
Swipe left on any recording and tap Delete, or open the recording and tap the trash icon.
Can I share transcripts?
Yes. Open any transcript and tap Share to send it to Notes, Messages, Mail, or any other app.
