How do I calculate an offset bend?
Go to the Calculator tab, select "Offset Bend", enter the height (rise) and choose your bend angle. ConduitMark will show the spacing between bends and the shrinkage to deduct from your conduit length.
Which conduit sizes are supported?
ConduitMark supports 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2" EMT. Take-up values are based on standard bender shoes per NEC/IBEW specifications.
Can I switch between inches and centimeters?
Yes. Go to the Settings tab and toggle between Imperial (inches) and Metric (centimeters). All calculations and results update immediately.
Where is my calculation history stored?
All history is saved locally on your device using iOS's built-in storage. It never leaves your device and is never sent to any server. You can clear it anytime from the History tab.
Does ConduitMark work offline?
Yes — 100% offline. ConduitMark never connects to the internet. All calculations and reference tables are built into the app.
What formulas does ConduitMark use?
Offset: spacing = height ÷ sin(angle), shrinkage = height × constant. Saddle: spacing = height × 2.5. Stub-up: mark = stub length − take-up. Back-to-back: second mark = first mark + back-to-back distance. All constants follow NEC/IBEW standards.
